Spider Gecko Enclosure

Here is a close-up illustrating the stacking method used for making a multi-level, multiple-cave rock pile for spider geckos. Each cave is a different temperature depending on the proximity to the heat-bulb, which always stays in the same place. The geckos become familiar with the routine and have favorite spots at different times of the day and night. Competition for good spots is minimized by the number of good options. The flat rocks are pieces of New Mexico sandstone, but any type of flagstone or flat rock will do.
